Commonwealth Shared Scholarships 2026

For talented students across selected low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries, the dream of earning a world-class master’s degree in the United Kingdom is now within reach. The University of Surrey, in partnership with the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), is offering two fully funded Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for the September 2026 academic intake.

These prestigious awards are designed specifically for students who have the academic potential and passion to create impact but lack the financial means to study in the UK. Through the CSC’s vision and the University of Surrey’s commitment to global education, deserving scholars are empowered to pursue advanced postgraduate training that will shape their future and transform their communities.

Why This Scholarship Matters

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship scheme exists to support the next generation of global leaders—individuals who will drive change, advance innovation, and solve pressing societal challenges across the Commonwealth.
With full financial coverage, the scholarship eliminates barriers and enables outstanding students to focus entirely on academic excellence and personal development.
